About this course
This course will provide you with key insights about justice, equity, diversity and inclusion that we embrace in our Parenting Support Circles. Objectives:
- Understand the challenges between stereotypes, prejudice and racism
- Learn about systemic racism
- Learn about the impacts of system racism (intergenerational trauma)
- Learn about gender issues, such as:
- Gender Identity
- Sexual orientation
- Transgender issues
- Learn about how you can create a safe space in your circle for all participants regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status or any other factor
